Based on the online clips, as well as the recommendation from Overbrook Golf Club, I was expecting the Vincent James Band to have been really good.....but you far exceeded my expectations.....the band was FABULOUS, MAGNIFICENT, and quite frankly, the best wedding band I ever experienced in all my years....and I truly and literally mean that! We booked them for my daughters New Years Eve wedding and could not have been happier. Charles and Kevin are so easy to work with from start to finish. At the wedding, the band played constantly, and EVERYONE was on the dance floor. So many guests were commenting to us about how fabulous they were. Book them for your wedding. [Here is my review-you may post it if you would like to.] Again-ty for everything. The music was outstanding! Eleven years ago VJB played at our daughter’s wedding and were absolutely fantastic. When our son announced that he was getting married in December, we wanted VJB again and fortunately they were available. About a week before the wedding, I was wondering if they would still have the same energy, musical quality and level of performance that they did 11 years ago. We can say without hesitation that the band was phenomenal. The guests had a wonderful time dancing and singing along. The energy in the room was palpable and the band’s presence clearly made the party. VJB met and exceeded all expectations and without any hesitation, my husband and I would recommend them for your event! ..... Dancing the night away was also the plan, and we were thrilled to invite the Vincent James Band back to Sunnybrook for a second time, to entertain our guests. Their music was lively and fun, and the dance floor was full all night! A hearty thank you to all band members, most especially Kevin Hanson who managed all the details and kept the crowd on their feet all night. Once again, everyone LOVED the short dance set following the bride and groom’s first dance, which really set the celebratory tone for the night .....

I saw your band several years ago at our friends wedding (Bride and Groom: Danielle and Michael McNulty). Although I remember a beautiful venue (I think near Villanova) for their reception, I do not recall the name. What I do remember though, was the Vincent James Band!!! It was a fabulous evening with the best band I’d ever heard and everyone dancing the night away!!!
Our daughter Alexandra and her fiancé Dominic, will be getting married next year, Sat. June 3, 2023. We only decided the date and place yesterday so wanted to reach out to you right away. I’m not sure if you travel though. We live in New York, on Long Island and will have the reception at our home, in St. James. (We are halfway between Manhattan and the Hamptons)

I wanted to drop you a note to say “Thank You” for the musical entertainment at our holiday party last night. It was really nice seeing the guys again and I enjoyed meeting Kevin as well. It has been an extremely difficult 21 months. Being separated from our team members has been rough on all of us. Having The Vincent James Band entertain at our party made everyone smile, laugh, do a little some dancing but overall we truly enjoyed listening to the music. We did not have a full crowd last night, there were 30 team members who missed the party so overall the crowd size was only 100. I received so many compliments on the band last night and they are still coming through today!! And you were right, Jovan nailed Adrienne Bocelli, and received a round of applause for his singing. I am writing to express my appreciation for a job well done! The VJB was an outstanding success. We received many compliments, including compliments from the facility where our event was held. You may recall they were quite concerned that VJB's 10 piece band would be too loud and disturbing to the other guests at the hotel. Just the contrary, they were thrilled with how well VJB performed as were the other guests. Loud noise coming from DJ's has been a problem, it was not a problem with VJB. More over, the quality of the music, the depth and beauty of the songs, was exactly what I hoped for and am so pleased was delivered. Everyone had a great time. I feel that for a party to be successful requires three elements, guests need to be wowed by the food, drink and entertainment. With VJB, we hit a "home run"! In 2016, I attended a wedding at Rivercrest Golf Club in Phoenixville, PA where I saw you perform. To say we were blown away by the music is an understatement. I still get chills when I think about your beautiful rendition of Con Te Partiro.
Our wedding will be in Vermont, so wanted to confirm if that is within your radius. If so, I'd love more information and rates.

I can't imagine our wedding without this band. The music was out of this world and everyone couldn't stop talking about how talented the band was. I've never seen a dance floor SO packed because everyone was enjoying the music so much, they couldn't help but dance every chance they got. Charles was extremely communicative and so easy to work with leading up to the wedding. We also had a lot to coordinate with a wedding party of almost 30 people total, a flash mob, a choreographed first dance, AND an original song performance by my cousin. Charles was patient and helped us plan every detail so things ran smoothly. If you are considering VJB, don't look any further, you will NOT be disappointed. Thank you for being a part of our special wedding day!!! |

Everything was great. The music selection and the level of talent of the VJB were both fantastic. The ceremony and cocktail musicians were also terrific. Our guests were gushing that the VJB was the best wedding band they’d ever heard. I also want to commend your sound man for keeping the sound at a level that allowed guests to chat at their tables without having to scream above the band. I play in a rock band at local bars and I know first hand how difficult it is to get the sound just right to where the musicians can play with gusto without playing so loud that the audience can’t hear themselves think. Everything was perfect!! I will write a ringing endorsement on Google. We got married this past Saturday and our guests can not stop talking about how fantastic the Band was. From the start, Charles and Maureen were absolutely fantastic, kind and SO helpful! Almost a year before our wedding we went to see them at a local charity event and we knew we were in for a treat when we witnessed a packed dance floor from the first song to the last song. And that is exactly how it was at our wedding - all night a packed dance floor. They know how to entertain and they are so very professional. M S 1 review 4 hours ago- This band just played at my daughter's wedding and were UNBELIEVABLE! Several times I had to look up to see if it was the band playing the cover or if it was just a recording. They were spot on and added tremendous energy and excitement to our affair. If you want your affair to JUMP then these are the guys (and Gal) for you. Everyone came up to me and my wife and complimented us on our choice of musicians. And that's from a family of musicians! I waited over a year to write this review, for good reason, people are STILL talking about how great the wedding was, specifically because of the band! We selected our date based upon the bands schedule; that is how good they are! We were the first wedding of the season and did not disappoint! We danced all night; every wedding now pales in comparison to ours, solely because of the band! I can not thank you enough for creating such a special day for us that we will treasure forever!

Lindsay Bacovin & Kenny Narzikul December 7, 2018 Charles and the rest of the Vincent James Band, We cannot thank you enough for playing at our 9/8/18 wedding at the Down Town Club. From our initial phone call, to our final call about the day of details with Charles, you were nothing but professional and amazing to work with. It was really important to us that we set the tone early in the night and for it to be clear that we are here to dance and celebrate. Charles made great suggestions on what songs to play starting out to get people on the dance floor from the get-go. The entire night everyone was dancing! I have cousins/relatives who I have never seen dance at a wedding that were on the dance floor all night. It was one amazing song after another. We cannot thank VJB enough. They are so much fun and full of energy. So many people have commented since our wedding on how great our band was and that our wedding was one for the books. We highly recommend! From the moment we met with them and ultimately decided to book them, we knew we were in good hands. Charles was extremely professional, organized and responsive to all of our e-mails and phone calls- which made the planning process that much easier! He really took the time to sit with us to understand the vision we had for our wedding and made sure to personalize his set to our tastes. He even coordinated with our venue so we didn't have to! They started the night with a two-song dance set, which really got the party going! Every single one of our 250 guests were out of their seats and dancing from the moment they started playing. The dance floor was packed! The band played a variety of music throughout the night, so everyone was pleased with the song selections. Our guests are still talking about it and it has been a month since the wedding! This band made our entire night! Now that we are back from the honeymoon and getting back into our routine I wanted to take a moment and thank the Vincent James Band, and importantly you, for helping to make our wedding reception exactly what we envisioned and a night to remember! It started out perfect with the ceremony music and kicked right over to cocktails/reception. From our introduction and first dance, the Vincent James Band was energized, got guests out on the dance floor and were ready to party! Our wedding reception was so beyond perfect and I know that is thanks to the amazing Vincent James Band. From the moment the reception started our guest were out on the dance floor. Vincent James band knew what the crowd seemed to like and played songs that kept everyone dancing. My absolute favorite moment were our first dance and my dance with my dad. For our first dance, we had chosen a very particular version of "I only have eyes for you" and it was performed so perfectly. My husband and I kept looking at each other and commenting on how perfect the song was. It was such a memorable part of our reception to hear our song unfold. My dad and I used to dance to the jukebox we had in our basement growing up and one of our favorites was “To Sir with Love.” My dad surprised me with the song and it was the most wonderful rendition. I am so thankful that The Vincent James Band gave us those moments we will always treasure! I absolutely cannot recommend the band enough. All of our guests raved about the band and it truly made the day a perfect one!

I am pleased to offer positive comments for the band from our daughters October 16th wedding.
We hired the Vincent James Band after they did a terrific job at a family member's wedding. The Vincent James Band was outstanding at our daughter's wedding. They kept the guests dancing and happy. So many of them gave glowing comments about the band and how much fun they had when leaving the wedding. We continued to get glowing comments weeks after the wedding for what a great time everyone had, and how it was one of the best wedding they had ever attended. The band had a lot to do with that. Mr. Interrante, who is the head of the band, is also a great help with advice about the structure of the reception, with the timing of traditional events in the reception, and trouble shooting timing of special requests. His advice was very sage and really helped us to make good choices for the evening. He was also very flexible and accommodating to our special requests. We had a very wide age and taste range but they bridged it all and worked with us to make it all work. We highly recommend the band for a good time to be had by all.

I had just seen Earth Wind and Fire a month before the wedding, and hearing VJB perform 'September' totally blew me away, along with the entire crowd. I'm not sure what my favorite moment of the night was, but the aria duet during the dinner hour brought tears and goosebumps and a standing ovation from the 220+ guests in the room. That one performance set the VJB apart from every band I have ever seen at any special event. You have truly set the bar very high.
I would be remiss if I didn't also send a special thank you for letting me and my son perform two songs, I Saw Her Standing There and Some Kind of Wonderful, with the band. At each niece and nephew's wedding throughout the past decades I have always performed a song or two with the band, but never with a band of this caliber. Allie and I just returned from a short Mini-Moon to Mexico and have not been able to get the VJB out of our mind. You guys made our wedding day so special, so amazing, so magical, so perfect and we cannot thank you enough.

Allie and I just returned from a short Mini-Moon to Mexico and have not been able to get the VJB out of our mind. You guys made our wedding day so special, so amazing, so magical, so perfect and we cannot thank you enough.
From the ceremony to the closing tunes, you guys SHRED! You even allowed my dear old dad to sit in for a couple tunes on the drums - thank you for that especially. He's always had a dream to play with a real band and you made that dream come true.
Allie and I plan to refer everyone to you, no matter where they live on the east coast. We hope that's ok because it is the least we can do.

The Vincent James Band created a great fun atmosphere and kept people out on the dance floor until the very end of the night. The band leader, Charles, worked with us closely to make sure we got the best music for our whole night. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the sax/piano jazz combo thorough the cocktail hour, which played our favorite jazz standards. The live band brought a ton of energy to the party and they did an amazing job with all kinds of music from jazz to disco to recent pop hits. They even learned a new song for our first dance!

My fiancé and family could not make it to your showcase therefore when I decided to book you, I was the only one that had ever heard you play. I knew you were awesome, but the pressure was solely on me to hire the musicians for the night. Let me put it this way, you made me look good. HA! From start to finish, during the night of the wedding, you were incredible! The introductions and all MCing was crystal clear and strong (Thanks Maureen), and the music had everyone packed on the dance floor. During the courses, your filled the ballroom with ballads that left everyone staring in awe. The variety of songs was outstanding. The organization and flow of the evening worked great. Hello Charles, I saw your band Saturday night at the Ambler Arts & Music Festival and I thought that you were amazing. I was there to see Tommy Conwell.... been a long time fan of theirs, going back to the mid 80s, and the last thing I would normally listen to is a dance cover band, but you are probably the best dance band I have ever seen... good variety to your set list, and everything was done well. My girlfriend is more into dance music, and she really enjoyed your set as well. I think we will probably seek you out in the future as we both enjoyed listening to your music. The Vincent James Band played for my daughter's wedding at Greystone Hall and had 80% of the people in the place dancing. Even 85 year olds were up on the dance floor. Our crowd had about 100 people under age 30 and about 125 over the age of 30 and everyone was loving every minute of their performance. Even those who do not like to dance thoroughly enjoyed the tremendous range of music that was played and the sheer excellence in the execution of every song. The VJB sounds as good as or better than the original artists' recordings. The band is easy to work with, very professional, has a tremendous personality, an incredible depth and breadth of talent with their musicians and vocalists, and is simply the best band most of our guests have ever heard at a wedding anywhere. We heard that comment repeatedly from guests who have attended many social events across the country with renowned bands. Even guests from Europe and South America were raving about them. Their appeal is universal. They made our daughter's wedding perfect! The VJB filled in what would have been awkward gaps caused by unforeseen delays and no one even noticed. Our guests overflowed the dance floor and were even dancing on the lawns. The chanted for the band to play on even after the wedding was over. You cannot miss with the VJB! What a wonderful group of people and their enthusiasm for their art is contagious. Book them without hesitation!

This story started over a year ago; my family and I went out to hear different bands some were good and some a bit weak. I also attended a few showcases in the Philly area. Having been in a few bands myself, I knew what I wanted for my daughter’s wedding. I was asked by a cousin of mine if I’d ever heard of “The VINCENT JAMES BAND”. She tried to contract them for her daughter’s reception, but they were not available. I contacted the leader of the group, Charles Interrante and he invited me to his showcase in Broomall. The moment they played their first song I knew this was the band for my daughter’s wedding. She and her fiance agreed. By the end of the showcase we realized that the bandТs talent and versatility was unrivaled.
On the day of the wedding we chose VJB’s excellent Classical Guitarist for the ceremony. For the cocktail hour, they provided a jazz trio that performed a mix of modern and traditional jazz. Before the Bridal Party entered the reception, it sounded as though the Average White Band was in the house as our guests were already dancing to У Pick Up The PiecesФ. And that was only the beginning; The VJBТs exceptional sound combined with a great selection of songs kept the dance floor packed through the entire evening.
My daughter’s wedding was one of the Best Days Of My Life thanks in part to the VJB. You can have an affair at a venue with wonderful atmosphere, chandeliers, fountains, beautiful flowers, and great food; but if you don’t have a GREAT band, it’s just an average event. Three days later, people are still calling and telling us how much they loved the band. If you are reading this because you have interest in using the VJB for your event, just do yourself a big favor and get to their next showcase.
