Well to begin, WOW. We cannot thank you or the VJB enough for taking our wedding celebration to the next level- Justin and I, our parents, and literally every single guest at the wedding were just RAVING about the Vincent James Band- I mean people couldn’t believe it was a live band playing these songs because they sounded so much like, and BETTER than the originals!! Everyone has been emailing and calling saying that they need to come up with some excuse to have an event sometime so they can book the VJB.
We cannot wait to get the video footage of everyone going crazy on the dance floor. Please let me know if Justin or I can write a testimonial or commentary on how amazing the VJB is- we just cannot even express how amazing and talented you all are- like easily selling out Madison Square Garden amazing.

All I can say is WOW. The band was beyond excellent. You said that the band was in a great groove – you were not kidding. After seeing you on several occasions, I was signing your praises, but deep down I was hoping that what I had experienced would translate to this event – I wanted all of the guests to see what I had seen. I had nothing to worry about – not only did you keep everyone up and dancing – I don’t think that there was a time that people sat – even in an extremely hot June night. You made everyone feel so special – people were dancing that never dance, unbelievable. I can’t believe all of the comments and accolades I received about the band!! I’m pretty sure you will end up with a couple of gigs from the wedding. Thank you so much for your professionalism and the absolutely wonderful experience that you provided.

I just wanted to thank you and the band for the amazing job you did at our wedding. People have raved about how awesome you guys were, and dancing to all of your music was by far the best part of the reception for me. As you probably heard, SO many things went wrong that day, due to both sloppiness on the part of Feastivities, the floral and lighting folks, and just a complete misrepresentation by Elkins at the ability of the ballroom to accommodate our number of guests comfortably on a summer day. Everyone involved has tried to shirk responsibility in one way or another, and though I have never been one to dwell, complain, or seek any kind of undue compensation; I was just so disappointed at how we were treated by many of the other professionals, after all of the money and time we had put in with these people. My mom said that you called her to follow up on how we felt after the wedding, and I told her I was not surprised, because you have been nothing but courteous and extremely professional throughout this whole process. It is refreshing to be working with someone who understands and has respect for how much blood/sweat/tears/money goes into a wedding day. I loved every minute that the Vincent James Band played at our reception, and I thank you again for your general concern. I would recommend you guys to any and everyone (and have).

As the mother of the bride, all I can say is “WOW”. We are still reveling in the wonderful day we had, and the FANTASTIC reception that was so successful because of your musical talents. You have to check them out,Э people who had heard you at other events implored. You will never hear another band with their level of quality and versatility, they claimed. What can I say? You told me that the band would make the difference, and that our guests would be dancing from the first song, and how experienced and professional the VJB is. We have received daily and constant positive input, and compliments on the band. I will give excellent references for you personally, and for the band. You are the easiest manager to speak and deal with as well as having a lot of knowledge and experience. The band was amazing. We will have many wonderful memories of the wedding, and I can thank YOU for that. Some of our guests have written us notes, and many have called. It has been two weeks, and the women I work with are still speaking of the band and the wonderful time they had. Honestly, with all the decisions a wedding requires on almost a daily basis for over a year, we all feel that the best decision we made regarding this wedding was to have the VJB. When we began to plan Rebecca and Eric’s wedding, we were having a very difficult time finding a band that we liked. As a pianist myself, with a family of musicians and music lovers, along with a guest list of people we knew loved to dance, we were extremely picky about the music for the evening. It was then that one of Rebecca’s bridesmaids heard you play at a wedding in New Jersey and told Rebecca, “You HAVE to hire this band. They are the best I have ever heard!” We arranged a visit to one of your showcases, and within 20 seconds of hearing you, we knew we had found the perfect band for the occasion. Our search had ended! You were such a pleasure to work with all along the way. We enjoyed our pre-wedding phone conversations and in person meeting, and found that you knew just the right thing to say if one of us had a question or concern. On the night of the wedding, the music exceeded even our highest expectations! Every arrangement and performance of every song was perfect and sounded like the original recordings! We had a crowded dance floor all night and our guests all commented that they had never heard such a great band before. Each band member has an amazing voice as well as being able to perform in many styles on many different instruments. Maureen was a lovely and elegant M.C in addition to singing so beautifully. We were all so impressed with the quality of the music. We were wondering just how you were going to get the crowd going again after dinner, but everyone got on the dance floor with just as much energy, if not more, and danced until the last song of the evening. Jerry and I want to thank you and your band for one outstanding night of playing the best songs in the best way possible!! You are all fabulous. I can’t tell you the calls I have gotten about your band and “where did I find you”?!! What a joy it was for me to see my 83 year old father really “cutting the rug”! The bride and groom glowed as they danced the night away!
Charles- thanks for the kind way you handled everything!! I hope you are still playing when my 16 year old gets married!!

Dear Charles,
Don’t know how to thank you for such a brilliant performance last Saturday June 7, 2008 at the Pen Ryn Mansion for the Wexler-Scheiring wedding. It was so fantastic that everyone commented on the band: needless to say considering how many people were on the dance floor. The place went crazy. Thank you for being such an instrument (no pun intended) in making their day one that will be memorable forever. Maureen brought chills to our spines when she sang The Prayer. What a gift!! Thank you so much again for this memorable moment.

We just wanted to say thank you to VJB for making our wedding reception absolutely amazing! We both had a wonderful time, and danced the majority of the night. People keep asking us where we found “the band”. So many people have told us how great you were. From the first time we heard VJB, we knew you would do a great job at our reception but you definitely exceeded our expectations!! The dance floor was packed all night long. That was what we were hoping for at our wedding so we are extremely happy. We are so excited to get our wedding video so that we can hear you play again! We can’t thank you enough for everything. Charles,
I just wanted to take a chance to thank you, and your band for playing at our wedding at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. You guys were amazing!!!!! We had seen you play at another wedding before so we knew how good you’s were, but our guests were amazed at how incredible you were. That night and the next day I had at least 10 people tell me how amazing the band was and where did we find you? Everyone from a 70 year old Aunt, to our groomsmen who are in the their mid 20′s, to the 5 yr old kids loved the songs and danced all night!!! When my wife and I got engaged the first thing we did was to book your band for our wedding because we knew your band would make the difference between an average wedding and a great wedding. We figured we would find the country club and church eventually, but having you play at our wedding was essential. So thank you again for making our special day that much more special!

Whenever I go to an affair I always feel that it is the music that makes or breaks it. How true this turned out to be with our daughter Dani’s wedding. Not only did you play fantastically, but with such talented singers, you kept the party going all night long.
